What is C.A.R.E. Fair’s mission?  How is it different from other health fairs?
C.A.R.E. Fair’s mission is to provide a “one-stop shopping” event prior to the start of
school, where families are able to obtain free direct services such as immunizations,
athletic medical exams, financial, food and education assistance, school supplies, and
safety instruction and equipment (including car seats, bike helmets and gunlocks).
Agencies are not simply handing out information; they are providing a direct service to fair
attendees.

How do I know what services I will be eligible for?
Each participating agency has its own requirements.  Some agencies require specific
forms of identification, specific financial records, specific health information, etc.  You can
visit with staff from more than 40 different agencies at C.A.R.E. Fair to find out if you are
eligible.  And, because it is a direct service fair, if you are eligible, you will be helped right
there at C.A.R.E. Fair.

If I come for services such as a car seat and immunizations for my child, do I have to
pay for any of these items?
No, all services at C.A.R.E. Fair are free.

My children need physicals for school.  What is required?
Children under 18 MUST be accompanied by a parent/guardian to receive a physical.
Also, be sure to bring the school form you need completed.

If you are there to receive services and no car seat, it will generally take 2 hours to
get through the event.  For services and a car seat, you will most likely be at the event at
least 3 hours.
